CollectingG + number (ex. G2) - Generation (One - Five), designates to which group a particular Stablemate mold belongs.
Generation One - These models are all sculpted by Maureen Love and were originally released in porcelain by Hagen-Renaker. Breyer began producing them in 1975.

LSQ - Live Show Quality, the exact definition can vary from person to person, but in general it designates a model in Live-show worthy condition, which means it is generally free of blemishes and rubs.
PSQ - Photo Show Quality, like LSQ, the opinion varies, models are more or less flawed, but such flaws are either small enough to be invisible in a photo, or can be hidden through skillful positioning.
RR - Regular Run, models found in the regular catalogue. Usually no restriction on numbers produced
SR - Special Run, models sold exclusively through certain retailers or directly from Breyer. Usually limited numbers are produced.
SM - Stablemate, the second smallest Breyer scale. Before the introduction of Mini Whinnies it was the smallest scale.

Terms:
Nearside - Refers to the left side of the horse. Ie. the side which is closest to you when mounting. Near-hind or near-fore refers to the legs on the left side.
Offside - Sometimes called 'farside' refers to the right side of the horse. Ie. the side which is furthest from you when mounting. Off-hind or off-fore refers to the legs on the right side.
Points - when talking about colour, the points are the mane, tail, and legs of the horse. A bay horse has black points.
