Birthday Week: Arts N Crafts - Ornament Kits

Arts and crafts activity sets have been a part of the Breyer line since the early 1970s, but in the early 2000s Breyer kicked it up a notch. Included in this increase in craftiness were several Stablemate-scale offerings.

On the right is the Holiday Special #700202 Holiday Ornament Craft Kit (2002) which included a G2 American Saddlebred, G2 Rearing Arabian, and a G1 Thoroughbred Standing Foal.

The set on the left is the Holiday Special Run #700703 Holiday Ornament Craft Kit (2003) with a G2 Prancing Morgan, G2 Warmblood, and G2 Trotting Foal.

The models in both sets are prepared with white primer and gold-coloured rings in their backs, and come with paint, brushes and an assortment of crafty accessories for turning the models into ornaments.

The Holiday Special Run #700675 Holiday Ornament Craft Kit (2005) includes a G2 Andalusian, G2 Shetland Pony, and G2 Cantering foal, all in white primer with gold-coloured rings for hanging. The usual craft paraphernalia is included.
