During this time, Breyer released eight regular runs and thirteen special runs on this mold, putting him in shared third place with the G1 Arabian Mare in the top four most used Stablemate molds.

During early 1975, #5013 (bay) models could be found mis-packaged as Citation.

This mistake was quickly corrected, but not before another "Thoroughbred" Arabian was released.

Along with the G1 Arabian Mare and a few others, a Thoroughbred family found it's way into the Sears holiday catalogue. Packaged in the same type of white box as the others, it was advertised as a Miniature Family. Authentic Reproduction of 'Citation', the famous sire of race horses and his family. This set consisted of an Arabian Stallion (as Citation), Thoroughbred Mare, and Thoroughbred Standing Foal, all regular run bays.10
Again, these were simply repackaged regular runs, as indicated by the packaging: "Sears No. 20263 (Breyer No. 5670)"10 - #5670 being the number assigned to the Regular Run Stablemate Assortment as a whole.
Another regular run model turned special run popped up in 1995. The grey #5120 Arabian Stallion found his way into a set with a large doll produced by a German company and a regular run Thoroughbred Mare. We'll go more into detail with this set down the line.
More recently, after the supply of Single Day Ticket models ran out at BreyerFest 2004, ticket holders began receiving G1 Arabian Stallions in old plastic - apparently identical to the 1991 Sears Special Run #495091 Stablemate Assortment III.
Look out for Citation's conga in mid-January!
Many thanks to Sharon Walbridge, Deb Walsmith, and Lori Ogozalek for generously contributing pictures from their collections to help complete our line-up.
