This post is about to undergo a major overhaul and the chart is going to change. While I was on holiday in Texas I had access to a later edition of Nancy's book which provided additional information on this subject which has necessitated a re-write. :)

Thank you so much for reading!Heather Forresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699429656096210458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051728314850224668.post-46046406986387021362014-05-19T20:09:33.266+01:002014-05-19T20:09:33.266+01:00I have a 1990 Chestnut SR Morgan Stallion who does...I have a 1990 Chestnut SR Morgan Stallion who does not appear to have a mold mark...he must have been part of the leftover stock from the previous mold mark removal! I really like the chart detonating the changes- do you mind if I print it to use for documentation on the chestnut guy? I'd site the blog as the source of course :) PixelPerfectStableshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06670333801093187682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051728314850224668.post-46408545508650660732013-12-30T16:44:19.218+00:002013-12-30T16:44:19.218+00:00Well I still have a lot of pictures to take, but I...Well I still have a lot of pictures to take, but I noticed quite some little differences in other sramps as well. It's so hard to pin-point actual dates as Breyer didn't keep records for things like this, so the data had to be collected from the personal observations of various hobby folk. I wouldn't have known anything about the Morgan Stallion's stamp adventures if it weren't for Nancy Young's book.

I can't wait to see your pictures!Heather Forresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699429656096210458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051728314850224668.post-24044224735438573682013-12-12T21:46:49.766+00:002013-12-12T21:46:49.766+00:00I just purchased a complete Sears 1989 set in orig...I just purchased a complete Sears 1989 set in original box and bags (Yeah!!!), and I'm pretty sure they are the originals as they all look and feel right and have those sloppy glossed eyes, but this Morgan Stallion does have a belly stamp though...
Since I read this post I'm all into these stamps and working on a series of G1 belly pictures and found all kinds of little differences in the setting of the stamps, which hopefully should give a little more insight on the age of specific models once I get them all lined up.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8051728314850224668.post-64651367359341056642013-11-12T07:23:11.666+00:002013-11-12T07:23:11.666+00:00Apparently so, though they seem to be in the same ...Apparently so, though they seem to be in the same plastic "family" if you know what I mean. There doesn't seem to be a difference discernible to the casual eye (hence the B stamp), as there is with polystyrene.
